Moving image is my primary material. I work across contemporary art and cinema, engaging film and installation as parallel sites of inquiry. My practice moves through these forms rather than across them. For me, cinema is shaped by ritual, attention, and transmission. Images carry time, relation, and affect, often unfolding through sound, duration, and collaboration. Some works are formed for the cinema, others for the exhibition space, where moving image is deconstructed and stepped into as a spatial experience. Others emerge through testing and iteration. I’m interested in presence rather than resolution.
